Most people are glad to see the end of 2020. What with Covid-19 and all its loss and pain.
For me, 2020 has been an interesting year. My reflections as follows:
Work
Been WFH since April. I don’t miss the commute or the madness in the CBD. Will aim to WFH more even as life goes back to normal.
$$$
It’s been a good year $ wise. Making my targets and paying down mortgage. Especially a good year for investments given the pessimism all around. I will look back at 2020 as one of my best investment years.
Read
Thanks to the WFH and restrictions on travel, I had a lot more time to read. Read about 60 books so far, from a reread of WB’s Snowball and Jeffrey Archer’s Clifton Chronicles to the usual finance-related books and autobiographies.
Exercise
Nothing exceptional. Manage to keep up 2-3 days of exercise per week. Usually a 5km jog around the estate. Goes to the gym when schedules allow. Swam some.
We look forward to a new surprise in 2021.
